The June 1, 2024, Northeastern Ohio Synod Assembly, Waiting & Watching: The Spirit Speaks is much more than a business meeting. It is an opportunity to be in conversation and fellowship with others from across our whole synod.
 
Along with the business of approving the 2025/26 budget, and 2025 compensation standards the assembly will be called upon to elect a Synod Vice President, Synod Secretary, members of the Synod Council, Consultation Committee, Discipline Committee, and the voting members to ELCA Churchwide Assembly in 2025. There will be opportunities to worship with those who have gathered for the Northeastern Ohio Synod Assembly, participate and learn more about prayer stations, incorporate the use of prayer beads, engage in fellowship, and participate in large group discussions all while waiting and watching for the Spirit to speak.
 
The doors will open at 8:30 am, followed by the beginning of the assembly at 9:00 am. Lunch will be provided.
